UMX and ULX - customized motors

In case our standard motor series are not sufficient for your application, it is also possible to have these motors customized in a variety of ways.

This can range from simple modifications, like a different connector, to fully custom motors designed from scratch.

Custom yokes which can be used with  standard coil units. 

The ULX custom yoke can be used with the standard UL coils. With an width increase of just 13.6mm (42mm instead of 28.4mm) a force increase of 30% is realised. (top picture)

The UMX custom yoke can be used with the standard UM coils. With an width increase of just 2mm (23.1mm instead of 21.1mm) a force increase of 10% is realised. (below)

We direct drive innovation in delta robots

The new generation of delta robots has one thing in common. Their design replaces the familiar servo motors with a gearbox for direct drive torque motors. Together with Tecnotion, Brom mechatronics designed and build the first delta robot production line to place bulb flowers into pots. The build-in frameless torque motors play an important role to increase productivity and reduce costs.

Digital Hall Module

For commutation, Tecnotion has an optional Digital Hall Module that can be used with our entire range of linear motors. Its sensors provide 3 digital outputs, each phase shifted 120 degrees, to determine the electrical angle between coils and magnets. If you do not use a controller that allows you to commutate within the servo drive, this module can be a cost-effective alternative. The digital Hall module requires a 4.5 to 28Vdc power supply.
