Almelo, The Netherlands, 8 November 2022 – With the unique challenges of vacuum applications in mind and based on years of collaboration with high-end semiconductor manufacturers, Tecnotion introduces a more optimized successor with The Generation 2 vacuum motor series. This portfolio is suitable for even the strictest vacuum requirements with a large force range.

The vacuum generation 2 series ranges from the smallest UMV series for low loads and tight spaces up to the most powerful UXXV vacuum series for heavy-duty applications.

The enclosed design of the Generation 2 vacuum motors is optimized for low heat dissipation and optimal mounting to address one of the biggest challenges in a vacuum environment, heat transfer and motion. The thermal properties, such as lower thermal resistance, minimize the temperature increase and optimize the heat flow away from the application.

Generation 2 vacuum rated motors feature specifically created ironless coil units, fully enclosed in vacuum-compatible stainless steel for excellent RGA performance, resulting in shorter bake-out and pumping times. The magnet yokes provided with a vacuum-compatible nickel coating in combination with placement of the motor in a high vacuum as a whole, up to 10-8 mBar, offers the lowest achievable outgassing for a series product.

Tecnotions’ Generation 2 vacuum series is designed to be flexible and easy to install for any application. Where standard lead wires allow the design of the most suitable cable management, the additional stainless steel strip on the body makes installation simple and reliable. These vacuum motors are ideal for use in semiconductors applications, such as lithography and inspection, but also for display production, metrology, and science & aerospace applications. With multiple winding types and coil unit sizes available, the Vacuum Generation 2 Series always has the right motor for your system.
